This policy explains what personal data Planaroo collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Planaroo is operated from Liverpool, United Kingdom. If you have any questions, email us at admin@planaroo.ai or use our contact form.

Who we are

"Planaroo", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the business that provides the Planaroo website and property reports. For the personal data described here, we act as the data controller under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

What we collect

Depending on how you use Planaroo, we may collect:

  • Details you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, company and any message you send through a form, when you request a report, contact us, register interest or ask for access to our investor room.
  • Property information. The address and related public details of any property you ask us to report on, along with the listing photos and planning history for that address.
  • Account and order information. If you buy a report or subscribe, records of your purchase and the report we produced. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and how you arrived, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your data

  • To produce and deliver the property reports you request.
  • To respond to your messages and provide customer support.
  • To take payment and keep records of your orders.
  • To operate, secure and improve our website and product.
  • To send you service messages, and, where you have agreed, occasional updates about Planaroo. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Legal bases

We rely on: contract (to deliver a report or service you have asked for), legitimate interests (to run and improve our business and keep it secure), consent(for optional marketing and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (for example, keeping financial records).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run Planaroo, and only so far as they need it to do that work. These fall into categories such as:

  • Hosting, database and infrastructure providers.
  • Payment processing providers.
  • Email delivery providers.
  • Analytics and website performance providers.
  • Mapping, imagery and property-data providers.

These providers act on our instructions under contract. Some may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it. Order and financial records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Enquiry and contact records are kept for a reasonable period so we can follow up and keep context.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances.
  • Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.
  • Ask for a copy of data you gave us in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where we relied on it.

To exercise any of these, email admin@planaroo.ai. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to help first.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work, and, with your agreement, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
